Review by: Sachio Saibara

"Viduthalai" is an exceptional cinematic masterpiece that showcases the impeccable craftsmanship of Vetrimaaran. The movie's opening sequence with a train accident sets the stage for a conflict that is established brilliantly from the very first shot. Soori delivers the best performance of his acting career, utilizing his innate innocence to perfection. Bhavani Sre's emotive portrayal and VijaySethupathy's perfect fit as Vaathiyaar elevate the film to the next level. Ilayaraja's score and songs, especially "Kaatumalli," are breathtakingly beautiful, and Udaya Kumar's sound mixing in Dolby atmos makes the theater experience unforgettable. The movie's raw narration of police-political violence on innocent indigenous people is provoking, and the visuals by Velraj are masterful. The climax action sequence is sure to be the talk of the town, and the film's ending sets up the audience for a thrilling part 2. Overall, "Viduthalai" is a must-watch movie that lingers with the audience for a long time after they leave the theater.
