Cunning Stunts is a concert video by heavy metal band Metallica, recorded live in Fort Worth, Texas, on 9-10 May 1997. It was released in DVD and VHS formats. The DVD features concert footage, band interviews, a documentary, behind the scenes footage and a photo gallery consisting of approximately 1,000 photos. Three of the performances feature multiple angles. During the performance of the song 'Enter Sandman', the entire stage is set to appear to collapse and explode, with pyrotechnics and a technician (referred to in the extras as the 'Burning Dude') who runs across the stage while on fire, as another technician swings overhead. This is also one of the only Metallica concerts that didn't feature 'Ecstasy of Gold' as an intro.

When the 'Big Four' - Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax - shared a stage together on 22nd June 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, the show was beamed live into over 550 theatres worldwide via satellite in a special HD cinematic event. The Big Four Live from Sofia includes full shows from all four bands as well as behind the scenes and interview footage. The legendary concert from the Sonisphere Festival was one of only 7 shows across Europe when the four monsters of metal shared a stage for the first time.
A Year And A Half In The Life Of Metallica is a two-part documentary about the process of making the Metallica album (or "The Black Album"), and the following tour. It was produced by Juliana Roberts and directed by Adam Dubin. The second part runs approximately two-and-a-half hours and follows Metallica at the start of their Wherever We May Roam Tour in Europe through to the Guns N' Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour of 1992.
Originally released as "The $19.98 Home Vid: Cliff 'Em All," Metallica's first video is a tribute to late original bassist Cliff Burton. Made in Japan was recorded live over three nights during 15–17 August 1972 at Festival Hall, Osaka and at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan. Four of the tracks come from the album Machine Head which had been released earlier that year. The album was at first seen as somewhat unimportant by the band members, and only Roger Glover and Ian Paice showed up to mix it. The release in the US was delayed, until April 1973, because Warner Bros. wanted to release Who Do We Think We Are first. The three concerts recorded were later released as Live in Japan 3-CD box set (1993). According to the liner notes for that set, unlike many live albums, there are no overdubs or studio additions to the original album.

Sick of the Studio '07 was a 2007 concert tour by American heavy metal band Metallica, which took place in Europe. The first four concerts were in festivals and the last eight in stadiums. The band held a tourname-competition among the fans and they personally chose the winning suggestion. The band did not play the "New Song" but the "Other New Song", which they had played on the previous tour (Escape from the Studio '06), was played at the Bilbao BBK Live Festival [1] The setlists of the tour were full of old songs. In Lisbon, Metallica performed "...And Justice for All" for the first time since October 1989.

The History of U.S Heavy Metal Group Metallica. Often accused of being static and conservative, in truth Heavy Metal is a radical form of music that regularly re-invents itself, and one which attracts generation after generation of musicians willing to learn from the past, but hungry to evolve the future. And so it was that, in the early 1980s, a young man called Lars Ulrich was so taken by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal creating music paper headlines, that he came to England to track down obscure records, take them home to LA and, with his buddies, listen to them - until they came up with a genre of their own, soon be termed Thrash. This film is a study of this new dawn in rock music, and with the aid of those who were there at the time, presents both the story of this fascinating musical journey and reassess the sounds, the bands, the impact and the legacy of Thrash.

Fan Cans are customized paint cans stuffed with a CD, video, T-shirt and various Metallica “swag”. Fan Cans are released by the official fan club and sold to members only, this makes the early versions practically hard to find. Fan Can 1 is a collection of studio outtakes and miscellaneous jams from when the band was in the studio recording Load. During one of the Load sessions, Metallica recorded (what became the Fan Can one CD) in one take without stopping the tape between songs, capturing discussions between the band and Bob Rock about what to play and such.
