Everyone Else

While on a Mediterranean vacation, a seemingly happy boyfriend and girlfriend find their connection to one another tested as they bond with another couple.

Auster

25-year-old Ida lives in a symbiotic relationship with her unemployed and depressed mother Ildikó. Every day seems to be a weekend, as her mother has not worked for a long time and the apartment seems to be a vacation spot. After she finishes her studies, however, everything changes. Ida has to decide between her sense of responsibility for Ildikó and her own happiness when she receives an offer of her dream job. For this, she would have to move from the apartment they share to Fehmarn.

The Days Between

Lynn is a cheerful 22-year-old who works at a cafe and lives with her brother. Though she has no real direction in life, she is happy. Conversely, her boyfriend, David, is a career-driven swimmer who seems to care only about his training. Then Lynn meets Japanese exchange student Koji, and, though they speak different languages and spend most of their time together in silence, the two soon become closer than she and David had ever been.

What Matters Most

The lawyer Ella Wolf and her childhood friend Florian come from the same place but live in different worlds. He stayed in idyllic Bad Friedlingen and continues to run the organic farm of his deceased parents. For him, the modern milking machine means maximum change. Ella, on the other hand, is about to take the next step in her career in a renowned Munich law firm: one more test and she will become the youngest junior partner of all time! At her best friend's hilarious wedding party, the two meet and get closer than ever! When Ella returns to her home village six weeks later, she has two serious issues in her luggage: Firstly, she is pregnant by "Flo", which nobody but her knows yet, and secondly, she is supposed to push through a destructive construction project for an important client, which of all things is fought by Florian as the leader of a citizens' initiative.

Holy Moms

Liv Mehlmann wants to throw an unforgettable birthday party for her daughter Alicia (14). But when she sends a message to the "Holy Moms" chat group that the precocious Rosie will also attend the party, the helicopter moms freak out. Rosie is not a good influence, she's got to go, immediately. Liv becomes a tool for social exclusion and ends up being marginalized herself. Teenagers don't have it easy. But mothers, whose social status is wavering, get their just deserts, too.

Shy, sensitive high school outsider Jakob Moormann is miserably lacking immaterial support at home, where his strict father, uniformed cop Claas, and selfish mother are too busy breaking up to be there for him. Jakob focuses on class dream-girl Hannah, without much luck. His secret recording of himself masturbating gets into class bullies Henry and Erik's hands through the mother's thoughtlessness. The rascals blackmail Jakob and post the video on the Internet. After a raging lecture phase, dad stands up for Jakob, but his life is already wrecked more than anyone realizes.

Tsunami - Das Leben danach

Michael Schäffer is among the Westerners whose families are killed in the great tsunami while on holiday at Thailand's Phuket beach. So is Billi Cramer, who is less introvert and hence accepts a Greek international relief force therapist's advice to seek contact with a compatriot in the same position. It is a case of high public attention: the well-known TV presenter Katharina Schlüter and the industrialist Christian Thiede have had a secret affair that has lasted for years, and now they are sitting opposite each other in the courtroom as hostile parties. On the witness stand, Schlüter describes how what was initially consensual sex in Thiede's apartment turned into rape. But are circumstantial evidence sufficient? Experts and witnesses are questioned, and an unexpected turn of events doesn't make it any easier for the court to decide on credibility and truth.

Erik has is own motorbike workshop in a sleepy little town. He may have the telling word ‘scoundrel’ tattooed onto his lower arm but he nonetheless creates an impression of a well-behaved average Joe. His relationship with his girlfriend Julia is going well and her daughter Linda is very fond of her new Dad. But then all of a sudden the mysterious Henry appears and begins following him about like a sinister shadow. The more Erik tries to shake off his diabolical guest the more Henry intrudes into his life. But then when a violent gangster named Keitel enters the fray and threatens not only Erik but Julia and Linda, Erik’s seemingly ideal world begins to run off the rails.

Science Fiction

At a motivational seminar, seminar leader Marius meets Jörg, an Ossi who doesn't understand. When Marius teaches him how to open a door with the right attitude, suddenly none of the participants can remember them. They are forgotten by the world, dependent on each other. Marius discovers that opening doors in the parallel universe creates unexpected opportunities for them to change places at will and live freely. But life as a couple brings with it tensions.

Ein Hund kam in die Küche

The teacher Senta falls in love with the award-winning chef Stefan, who rents out his romantic winegrower's house in southern Styria to her during the summer holidays. She soon notices that a quirky gendarmerie inspector is keeping the property under surveillance. Senta finds out too late that the policeman thinks Stefan is a multiple woman murderer and that she is trapped like bait.

Felix from Hamburg comes into possession of a run-down gas station in the middle of the north German provinces through a dubious barter. But that's not all: right across the street, the young Weda also runs a petrol pump business and is of course not very enthusiastic about the annoying competition. Only when an oil company stretches out its greedy fingers for the two gas stations do the quarreling operators also get closer personally...

Better Late Than Never

Her husband Frank feels left sitting in Berlin. And after a fierce flirtation with an attractive student, her marriage is finally in crisis. Nevertheless, Catrin is determined to make her dream come true. Better late than never.

On his way to the provinces, young insurance agent Rupert crashes his car into a jam cart and picks up a real piglet. On top of that, he's given a good shaking by area manager Schulze, so the next day he takes his briefcase to the farms in the area. But the suspicious farmers wave him off. Rosannas Tochter

The lives of childless couple Nela and Josch change abruptly after the accidental death of Josch's ex-girlfriend Rosanna. The deceased leaves behind her 14-year-old daughter Aimée, who the couple take in after some back and forth. The couple sensitively try to help the girl overcome her pain. But Aimée, who doesn't speak for a long time, is stubborn and unpredictable. Nela fears that the teenager wants to destroy her marriage and makes serious accusations against the girl. Josch, who is absorbed in the role of family man, doesn't seem to notice.

Was kostet die Liebe? - Ein Großstadtmärchen

Nora's life changes overnight when her cousin Emily turns up on her doorstep. She actually just wants to stay with her for a while, but then the glamor girl catches fish poisoning. Nora has to stand in for her - as an escort girl.

Casting

However, what begins in a feel-good atmosphere increasingly becomes a compulsion to disclose their innermost fears and issues. One after the other, the participants share their traumatic memories during the exercises, hoping to free themselves from their past and thus perform better in their job. Despite being pressured by Verena, Louise struggles to follow suit and becomes more and more of an outsider.
