Seetharam

A doctor's wife accidentally shoots a man who keeps stalking her. Assuming he is dead, she throws his body off a bridge but by a twist of fate, he survives and is treated by her husband.

Jayasimha, a professor, exposes the forgery done by a mischief in the college. However, he is forced to resign after a biased probe indicts him.

Sharada (Aarathi) is engaged to Gopi (Anil Kumar), who is studying abroad. She shares a close bond with her future in-laws. However, when her fiancé returns, she discovers that he has married Elisa (Margaret Thomsen), a white woman, and is no longer interested in her.

The story centers on a doctor who discovers that the patient he is treating is the husband of his former lover.
