Jean Berlinger is a gentleman and master thief. With playful ease he breaks into well-secured museums and steals their most valuable exhibits. The police are always in the wrong. With the money he receives for the precious loot, he supports retirement homes and homeless shelters. In preparation for his next coup, Berlinger meets the beautiful educator Julia. She runs a kindergarten next to the Egyptian Museum, from which Berlinger wants to steal the world-famous Nefertiti.

The Glory of Life

Because of the power of love, the last year of Franz Kafka's life becomes his happiest. The well-known writer has never before been able to allow himself to experience intimacy, he suffers from tuberculosis and is dependent on his overbearing family. In the summer of 1923, he met Dora Diamant in the seaside resort Graal-Müritz on the Baltic Sea coast, where he is convalescing and she is working in a Jewish Volksheim. He is a man of world, the 14 years younger woman is from the deep East, he can write, she can dance. She has both feet firmly on the ground, he is always hovering a little above it. The Last Days of the Ceaușescus

The images of the condemnation and execution of dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife Elena on Christmas Day in 1989 are etched deeply in the collective unconscious of several generations of television viewers. Exactly 20 years after its occurrence, the famous show trial was re-enacted in a historically reproduced setting. The film interweaves the stage production with interviews conducted with eyewitnesses and archive material, and takes a look backstage in the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest.

For organic farmer Andi Gruber, the single father of his eleven-year-old daughter Lena, his world suddenly collapses when it turns out that his cattle are contaminated with harmful substances and have to be slaughtered by the authorities. His livelihood is threatened. He desperately tries to find out what the pollutants are and how his cattle could have been contaminated. He goes to biochemist Dr. Kroetz and finds him dying, fatally wounded by a bolt gun. As Andi was seen at the scene of the crime, he is suspected of murder and is wanted. After he knows his daughter Lena is safe with his sister on the neighboring farm, Andi takes up the fight. With the help of young scientist Silvie Kraus, he discovers that an entire cartel of abattoir operators, chemical companies, vets and politicians are apparently testing new vaccines on the farmers' livestock without their knowledge and are not even afraid of murder.

Dutschke – Schüsse von Rechts

On April 11, 1968, Rudi Dutschke is assassinated in West Berlin. He is regarded as the spokesman and symbolic figure of the socially critical, left-wing student movement. As a hate figure of right-wing media and neo-Nazis, he stands like no other for the radicalization of an anti-authoritarian movement. The assassination triggers the biggest political unrest in the still young Federal Republic of Germany. Alongside contemporary witnesses such as Knut Nevermann, Rainer Langhans, Stefan Aust, Barbara Sichtermann, Peter Wensierski, Thomas Giefer, Bahman Nirumand and Gretchen Dutschke, Rudi Dutschke himself provides the most important description of his person.

Train Station

When a mysterious train accident forces a man to change his plans, he is confronted with a series of choices. Each decision he makes leads to a different scenario, each one filmed by a different director with a different cast.

The alleged murderer of a policewoman, Frank Keller, applies for release from preventive detention after 15 years in prison. However, it is rejected. Out of desperation, Keller takes his lawyer hostage and flees the courtroom. His first destination is the house of the edgy and highly respected police instructor Bruno Theweleit. Keller is said to have shot his colleague 15 years ago. After the incident, young policewoman Lena Frey sets off on her own search for clues and comes across more and more contradictions in the version of events that is supposed to have happened 15 years ago. This draws the displeasure of Theweleit and the shady inspector Günther Lehmann, who was also involved in the incident. After a meeting with Keller, Frey begins to doubt the man's guilt.
