Desperate, Péter rents a country manor and stations his staff there as “Tomi’s family” to lure Veronika into visiting, setting the perfect stage for Tomi’s conquest. Everything goes according to plan, until Péter himself falls under Veronika’s spell.

Chameleon

While cleaning offices at night, Zsolt Kovàcs learns a lot about his invisible employers by examining what they leave behind, carefully choosing his targets, often disillusioned women whom he seduces, methodically taking their money. An artist of manipulation, with a generous dose of humor and the ability to assume different personalities, Zsolt begins to work in a psychologist's practice, where he meets Hanna, a 30-year-old dancer who is physically incapacitated and the daughter of a millionaire. The ideal victim if love doesn't get in the way.

Nexxt

In the 20th live broadcast of Frau Plastic Chicken’s TV show entitled Nexxt, the first guest comes from the sixties: it is the hero of Burgess’s novel A Clockwork Orange, the notorious murderer Alexander Grushkin, that is, Little Alex. With the help of Egodoki, Frau PC has the Ludovico Technique applied on him, and beside the broken Alex she has Rex Madison, the protagonist of American Psycho brought in, with handcuffs on. The self-assured gigolo breaks down at the appearance of Maggie, his first love, and it is he who wins the confessional show led by Mrs Cardinal Paula Aquarius, which incurs pardon to be given. Rex, freed from his shackles, shoots the majority of those present, rapes PC and leaves together with Alex by helicopter. The show continues on the moon.

This I Wish and Nothing More

Bruno, a bisexual but closeted young man lives in rural Hungary with his girlfriend Mari. Also on the scene is her homosexual brother Ringo. Mari doesn't know that when the boys go off to work together in the city they raise cash by turning tricks and burglarizing houses.

Coming Out

This is the story of present-day Hungary's most famous gay celebrity who openly admits his homosexuality and fights for gay rights in a society where so many alternative values are denied. But then something happens and he is shocked to discover his growing interest in the female of the species.

I Love Budapest

Aniko (Gabriella Hámori) is a teenage runaway from rural Hungary who heads to Budapest and moves in with her best friend Móni (Martina Kovács). Aniko, always on the lookout for the man of her dreams, gets a job in a factory -- and finds that man in Miki (Sándor Csányi), a security guard. But Miki wants to make more money and decides to give the dope business a try, leading both Aniko and himself into a world of danger.

A Bus Came…

"A bus came..." consists of five loosely connected sketch films; the only thing that connects them is that each one is connected in some way to a bus route in Budapest. The mini-films, which are very different in mood and style, were made by Ferenc Török (Shoes), Árpád Schilling (No Comment), Viktor Bodó (Quarter Hour), György Pálfi (Táltosman vs. Ikarus) and Kornél Mundruczó (St. John of 78) with the professional and friendly support of Miklós Jancsó, who also provided the basic idea for the film.

Gone Running

After the death of her husband, a mother decides to fulfill his last wish and runs the marathon in relays with her daughters. A small problem is that none of them are physically and mentally prepared for running. Furthermore, the relatives and friends are also unexpectedly affected by the women's seemingly impossible challenge.

Stop Mom Theresa!

Kata, in her 20s, loses her boyfriend and her job on the same day. She's been indulging in fantasies of a more thrilling romantic life, and the cold water of being alone and unemployed doesn't entirely dampen her imagination. She's egged on by three girlfriends who get together to talk about men and sex. Kata has possibilities: she meets David, a medical student; there's Tamás, a stranger on a train who might be good for a relationship and a job. There's also Miki, her brother who's had serious drug problems. Is fulfillment within her grasp?

The Real Santa

On 6 December, Misu is hired as a Santa Claus advertiser for a department store. On that same winter day, Liza runs away from the orphanage because once upon a time, her mum promised her that when she turned 8, she would get a bicycle from Santa Claus. Liza unexpectedly walks up to Misu and asks for the bike. But Misu, the selfish bar pianist, has no intention of buying a bike, and Liza won't let him go until he gets his wish.

Pillangó

Zsigmond Móricz wrote his novel Butterfly in just a few days in 1924. Móricz tells the story of a mighty love that triumphs over adversity and is all-powerful in the language of ordinary people. The love of Zsuzsika and Jóska is presented through the "lightning and veil-soft" emotions of the director, László Vitézy's television adaptation. After The Legend of Hortobágy (Komorló) and The Sky Bird, this is the third film made by László Vitézy based on the writings of Zsigmond Móricz.

Nosedive

NOSEDIVE depicts a world of unlimited drugs, wild parties, beautiful people, and no sleep. However, when reality takes a dark turn, a group of characters are forced to step out of the nightclub and into darkness.

Apaches

Aspiring director Kishorváth seeks approval for his debut film, based on his grandfather’s odd ’60s protest: he and friends formed a “Danube Indians” tribe, donned moccasins and withdrew from society under strict moral codes. In the paranoia after ’56, the group’s strange weapons, secretive speech and ties to Americans draw government suspicion. When a censor on the approval board, whose own family was involved, challenges the tale, Kishorváth digs deeper into his grandfather’s true story.

A Hortobágy legendája

The film weaves together three stories from Hortobágy. It takes a sacred approach to the honesty, fallibility, stubbornness and deep emotions of the ancient people of Hortobágy. The director was inspired by Zsigmond Móricz's short story "Komor Ló" and the writer's realistic yet mystical vision to film two other stories told by the people of the Hortobágy, set in 1945 and after the communist coup.

Hogyan értsük félre a nőket?

What should you do if you realise at the door of the delivery room that you can't handle not only children, but women too? Why is it our fault if they have bad dreams? Why is it wrong to answer honestly when asked if I have lost weight? Is it worth giving our newly licensed wife advice in traffic? Is there a moment in a woman's life when she says: Thank you, I have enough shoes, I don't need any more. And why, despite all this, does our heart still beat when she walks into the room? Well, these questions are not answered in this performance. But it does raise many similar questions about the difficulties, the beauty and the joys of living together. (Between you and me: the difficulties.) A one-man comedy by Sándor Csányi playing eight different characters.

Így, ahogy vagytok

Small-town politics (corruption etc.) in Hungary. In a small eastern Hungarian town, Mayor Gábor Bencze, a multiple world champion military aviator, finds himself besieged by local power brokers eager to sway the airport–construction tender his vote will decide. From gangster Biros to influential “Professors,” everyone offers bribes or favors, but Gábor refuses to bend, determined to uphold his integrity in a system built on corruption.

Égi madár

Panni becomes the wife of the landowner Komáromi and thus the first woman of the village. Marriage only brings her wealth, she does not love her lord, her new family despises her, and she does not even get a maid from her former girlfriends. His old lover, Miska, unexpectedly returns to the village and visits the woman. Panni receives him with a smile and, after mutual recriminations, expels him. She tells her husband everything, but Komáromi, unmanly, does not defend his wife himself, but throws Mishka out of the ball with others, and she hates him forever. When Panni meets Miska again, she refuses to let him go back to Pest alone. Another adaptation of Zsigmond Móricz's work.

During the summer holidays, a strange little girl turns up and tells Kornél amazing stories about the house's inhabitants and their mysterious past. Iza inhabits a whole little magical universe in which everything and everyone has wonderful properties and abilities. The boy and the girl embark on a joint investigation to find the former Garaboncias, Kornél's father, who has been kidnapped by the evil Shadow Robbers (Peritons)...

A feature film based on the novella collection Csillagmajor (Star Farm) by Ervin Lázár. Once upon a time there was the Tanya. Somewhere in Hungary. More precisely: in Europe. Closer still: on a planet called Earth. Here, on this Tanya, lived loving, naive and refined farm people. Occasionally, strange people would come to this farm. And then all hell would break loose. Because with strangers came death. And destruction. And hatred. And envy. And vanity. And shame. And lies. On this farm, strangers have always been trouble.
