Mélanie walks past the same alley every day without noticing the strange metal bucket there.
Born in 1975, Marinette Pichon was a born soccer player. Raised by a courageous mother who had to deal with an abusive husband, she overcame difficulties and developed unwavering determination. While juggling odd jobs and her sporting career, she was selected for the French national team and then spotted by a major American club. Marinette then moved to the United States with her mother, pursuing her dream of becoming the best player in the world.
Marco, who is in his twenties and a bit lost, helps out a friend by standing in for him at his place of work: an emergency center for lifts. At around 3 am, a young woman called him: trapped in a broken-down car, she was having an anxiety attack. Marco tried to reassure her on the phone, but as no technician was available to help, he decided to go and rescue her himself. Unfortunately, when he arrives, the young woman has vanished into thin air. And so begins his incredible quest to track down this enigmatic stranger in Paris on the night of Valentine's Day.

Eleven people take part in a writing workshop where they learn how to write a story. Each of these eleven people will try, in their own way, to tell a story that is close to their heart, whether it be a true story or a fictional one, personal, sentimental, fantastical, detective... In the style of One Thousand and One Nights, the characters in these stories tell stories themselves.
