The New and the Old
While a man in present-day Berlin smokes by his window, two barkeepers in 19th century Gothenburg wait for their last customer to leave. He is an old suicidal man. One of the barkeepers feels for the man, the other is anxious to close up.

Sonja has been left with an unknown woman's baby on a train platform. As the baby's mother cannot be found, desperation rises in an intense psychological drama where the question marks multiply as the clock ticks toward departure.
