The film centers on Naho Kishi, played by Ayaka Nagai, a politician’s daughter who, despite her outward cheerfulness and success as a high school radio DJ, grapples with inner uncertainties about her future. Meanwhile, her classmates face their own challenges: Oto Satomi (played by Miura Ui) dreams of becoming a dancer but confronts personal obstacles, while others face dilemmas around friendship, love, and career aspirations.

After being released from a juvenile detention center at the age of 18 due to family issues, Makoto is met by Natsumi, a school staff member he has never seen before. She asks him to become part of the organizing committee for a troubled Coming-of-Age Ceremony. At first, Makoto refuses, but upon recalling his childhood dream, he agrees; on the condition that he can make a film. Together with classmates like Kakeru, a shut-in, and Sui, a social media influencer, they dive headfirst into making a film as a group of complete amateurs. However, the lead actor suddenly goes missing... Based on a true story, this film follows their journey through the struggles and risks of standing at the threshold between youth and adulthood, as they grow while chasing their dreams.
