The Skateroom is proud to feature Jim Jarmusch's captivating works in our first skate art collection with the iconic filmmaker. A nod to Jarmusch’s collage-making practice, the photographs have been featured on skate decks in seemingly random sets of threes. Whether their placement seems contrasting or connected is up to the eye of the viewer. The artist himself refers to the process as more dreamlike than logical, with the dark background of each board adding to the mysterious effect.

Just under a year in the making, CREDITS celebrates the diverse energy and personalities of the global women’s skate community directed by Shari White. With a talented cast led by three underground favorites — Una Farrar, Breana Geering, and Fabiana Delfino —the film highlights the unique, individual style and expression of a group of friends that skate, hang and travel together. Other featured riders, Beatrice Domond, Cher Strauberry, Clara Solar, Poppy Olsen, Helena Long, Adelaide Norris, Dayana Young and director Shari White herself.
Three stories concerning the relationships between adult children, their somewhat distant parent (or parents), and each other: a reclusive father visited by his grown children in the US, sisters visiting their novelist mother in Dublin, and adult twins called back to their Paris apartment to address a family tragedy.
