Mahmut and Osman travel from village to village, using the excuse of setting up a base station in the village to deceive the daughters of wealthy families with promises of marriage, then steal their gold and disappear. This time, however, their plans do not go as intended. Mahmut has heard that Sonay, the beautiful girl of the village, has a father who is very wealthy, and he has set his sights on her accordingly. However, thanks to Osman's carelessness, Sonay figures out what Mahmut is up to and plays a trick on him. She sends Mahmut running around after the gold, and eventually has him arrested.

Erkan grows close to Demet, and they become lovers. Meanwhile, the cousins both put the house up for auction and try to ruin Erkan and Demet's relationship. Just as the house is about to be sold, Osman the grandfather reappears. He had not actually died; he had been playing a trick on his cousins. Osman the grandfather drives the cousins away and gives the house to Erkan and Demet.
