In search of a new lifestyle, Johannes and his wife Pernille leave the city and move with their two children to Johannes’ childhood town in the country. When Johannes’ drunken brother Lars accidently runs over Anna, a local, and plants false evidence pointing at the emigrant Alain, Johannes stands up to defend Alain. But it comes with a price.
Five Danish stand-up comedians fled the country in the spring of 2003. Their escape took them through 20 Danish cities, where they performed 29 shows for more than 16,000 audience members. On Saturday, April 5, Magasinet in Odense hosted the show with Carsten Bang, Lasse Rimmer, Omar Marzouk, Mikael Wulff, and Sebastian Dørset. That same evening, the show was recorded on video. A short time later, it was released. And in just a moment, you will be able to purchase it. Then you can watch it again and again and perhaps call your friends and say, "Come and watch 'Fem På Flugt' with me," and while you wait for them to arrive, you can watch it again before you all watch it together. In an unprecedented 9 hour live "piggyback" transmission, comedian quartet Casper Christensen, Frank Hvam, Lars Hjortshøj and Lasse Rimmer of Casper & Mandrilaftalen (1999) fame, marathon-hosted and satirically skewed every imaginable AND unimaginable aspect of the Royal Wedding between HRH's Frederik X and Dronning Mary, on may 14th 2004. Characters included ex-boyfriends, aboriginals, so-called experts, wine-tasters, weathermen and a slew of hilarious off-beat characters, all played by the four comedians. This event was the much anticipated follow-up to the successful pre-test-transmission Zulu Royal (2003) from the Royal Engagement, October 8, 2003.

Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.
