Grandmother Maria, Sam and the riding instructor Kaan are trying together to keep Gut Kaltenbach running, which is in financial difficulties. The ambitious Isabell supports her, although she secretly pursues her own goals. The impulsive Ari comes to riding training in Kaltenbach, where she develops a special relationship with Windstorm, the eponymous horse of the film series, and she also makes friends with Mika. Mika and Ari try to save the estate and protect Windstorm from reckless horse trainer Thordur Thorvaldson.

Young forester Jana Doussière takes up a short-term position at the Grunewald forestry office. Coming from a wild forest in the Vosges, the solitude-loving Jana, who tends to struggle with people, encounters the big city forest and its "Berlin peculiarities". In addition to naked men, demonstrating wild boar fans and committed conservationists, the new forest warden is also confronted with sofas in trees, a mysterious city hunter and forest warden Robin, who hasn't exactly been waiting for her. And even her best friend Aylin, who brought her here, doesn't seem to have told her everything about the new job...
Founded in 2012 by Laurence Equilbey, the Insula Orchestra performs on period instruments and experiments with new concert formats. In summer 2018, the French conductor and her ensemble will present a little-known work by Mozart at the Parisian cultural center La Seine Musicale: the incidental music to "Thamos, King in Egypt". In 1773, the author Tobias Philipp Freiherr von Gebler asked his fellow Freemason Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to compose incidental music for his heroic drama "Thamos, King of Egypt". The boy wonder composed two choruses and five interludes for the play, which took up the Egyptian theme popular in the 18th century.
