The life of King Béla IV's daughter is brought to life in the film. Blessed Margaret of the House of Árpád was raised from the age of nine in the monastery of the Domokos nuns on the island of Nyulak. In the neighbouring monastery live monks, among them Jancsi, the gardener's son, who is charmed by the little princess. The feeling of love gives him the cross and the adolescent boy becomes a monk among the "prisoners of God".

Gábor Szávay works as a clerk at General Electricity Ltd, despite having a degree in engineering and having written a book on the future of electricity. The Talking Robe

In the 1600s, Hungary is plundered by the Turks and the Laban. Kecskemét, the free royal city, is not exempt from this. Miska, the wily son of Lestyák, a master tailor, suggests to the town council that they should ask for a permanent beacon from Buda, thus protecting Kecskemét from the harassment of raiding troops. The town assembles its gift of jewellery, cloth and a beautiful girl, and Miska sets off for Buda. On the way, the young gypsy girl falls in love with Mishka, who elopes with her in a boy's dress. He can do this because instead of the bewitchment he hopes for, he is given only a fancy robe to protect the city. Little do they know at the time how much the robe is worth. Before its wearer, all true believers will crumble to dust and do his bidding.

Mollycoddle

Miklós Kátay, a spoiled, peppery gentleman, changes to his advantage when he joins the military. He is helped by his old acquaintance, Sergeant Menyhért, who is courting his cook, and a new recruit, Balázs, who becomes his friend. In the barracks, he chats and chats at first, but at the front, where he is now an ensign, he is a hero. Uz Bence

László Bagyoni is forced to flee because he published a newspaper in the small Szekler village without permission. His friend Bence Uz, who lives in the mountains, takes him in. The notary's daughter Leticia arrives in the mountains with a hunting party. Her fiancé, Jonescu, becomes jealous of Bagyoni and the trip ends in anger. Uz Bence, who has made money from the hunt, wants to marry his old lover, Julie, but she has already married someone else. At Bence's intervention, the notary cancels Bagyoni's sentence. Meanwhile, Julis' husband dies and she is left alone with the baby. Julis leaves the child in the care of Bence while she goes to the city to serve.

The Challenge

The successful factory owner Sasho Kamenov marries Maria. Sasho wants to surprise Maria with a villa on the seaside. He commissions the project to architect Karshev who begins to court Maria. Kamenov sends his wife to the seaside. There Maria meets Karshev. She feels unwell in the car and the medical examination reveals that she is expecting a baby. In her joy at the news she accepts the architect's invitation to go boating. A raging storm keeps Maria at Karshev's villa. Kamenov accuses his wife of adultery and chases her away. After a while he repents and goes abroad in search of his wife... Sasho discovers his wife singing in a club in Nice. She tells him everything, he asks her to forgive him and soon the happy family makes a photograph.

Six Weeks of Happiness

Gábor Bozsó is a professional burglar. His daughter Éva, who knows nothing about her father's profession, is raised in an upscale institution. When she falls in love with one of her father's victims, things take a big change.

To add to the fun, later on, the inhabitants of the house themselves appear in the drawing room dressed as burglars...
