Dangerous Ground

Vusi Madlazi returns to the South African village he left as a young boy to bury his father. He meets up with his brother Ernest, who tells him their other brother Stephen couldn't be contacted. Vusi goes to Johannesburg to find him, but at first can only find his neighbor/girlfriend, Karin, a stripper. Vusi proceeds to learn how conditions have changed since the end of apartheid, not always for the better for black men.

Congo

In the spring of 2009 two Norwegian adventurers, Joshua French and Tjostolv Moland, are accused of killing their hired chauffeur just before crossing into the eastern Congo. The following manhunt starts a political and diplomatic headache.

Mother-the-Law

Mother-the-Law follows Jeminah, Palesa’s mother-in-law, as she bulldozes her way into her son, Lunga’s, 35th birthday party preparations. Lunga and Palesa are newlyweds, and they have to find a way to keep her at bay without offending her, culturally, as they forge a new life together. Jeminah, who is never impressed, especially by Palesa, plans and schemes to disrupt their original plans and have things done her way.
