The R of the title stands for the young protagonist, Rune, fearlessly played by Pilou Asbæk. Imprisoned for violent assault, he's a cocky, good-looking young man placed in the hardcore ward, where his survival depends on quickly learning the prison's parallel world of rules, honor, and obligations. R also stands for Rachid, a young Muslim prisoner who becomes Rune's friend and accomplice, defying the rigid racial stratifications among the inmates.

Beck 39 - Undercover

A young gang member is found dead, and the Beck group's investigation indicates that a drug network is behind it. Palestinian Unwanted

‘Palestinian Unwanted’ takes place after 7 October 2023 and the ongoing catastrophe in Gaza – a reality unfolding on screen, accompanied by broad political support in the West. Told from the personal perspective of Danish-Palestinian film director Omar Shargawi, we follow his involvement in the Palestinian movement in Denmark. Together with other activists, he confronts politicians and the media and turns his attention to Denmark’s role – from political support and arms exports to a public discourse characterised by silence, one-sidedness and the demonisation of Palestinians.
