Gabriela Preissová wrote her two most famous dramas, Gazdina roba and Její pastorkyňa, when she was not yet thirty. Both were set to music and became famous. The first opera, entitled Eva, was written by J. B. Foerster, and the second by Leoš Janáček. The fame of Janáček's work greatly overshadowed the original. On the other hand, "Gazdina roba," the author's debut work, is still performed on Czech stages, regardless of the era. That is how powerful and impressive this drama is. The production by director Zdeněk Kaloč premiered at the Vinohrady Theater in May 1992. Dagmar Veškrnová endowed the title role of Eva the seamstress with warmth, temperament, pride, and tragic shadows.

The desire for love and the search for happiness in life plays an important role in this sometimes very exciting story, and an equally important motive here is the motive of forgiveness of guilt in the name of more permanent values, among which in this case the relationship of two brothers can be included.

Therefore, she takes advantage of the opportunity when Prince Hubert arrives at the castle for a courtship, deliberately arousing Černoočko's jealousy and hoping that he will renounce Mařinka. However, Černoočko secretly transforms himself into a bird using a complex spell and flies to the castle to see for himself what is happening.

In the court investigation, two prominent lawyers clash: Judge Gaudet, who gradually becomes convinced that the girl is innocent, and attorney Cassidis, who elegantly manipulates witnesses, facts, and words.

The fame of Feydeau's A Flea in Her Ear was established at the Vinohrady Theatre in the 1960s by director Václav Hudeček with his production starring Vlastimil Brodský in the dual lead role. The studio version is now considered a television classic. In the second half of the 1990s, the theater's dramaturgy returned to this comedy bestseller and entrusted the direction to film and theater director Jiří Menzel. Another strong generation of actors was given the opportunity. The successful premiere took place on November 15, 1996, and the production ran for twenty long years. The recording is from April 6, 2016, when the performance was staged for the 363rd and last time. The director and all those who had appeared in the comedy over the long period were in attendance.

However, the creators stress that everyone must mature and accept responsibility for their behaviour. However, the exhortative and executionally clumsy work-themed story relies on pre-approved schemes, unable to assert its own idiosyncratic perspective.

Young married couple Hana and Dan form a chamber duo. They are young and have their whole lives ahead of them. She sings and he accompanies her on the piano. Hana wins a prestigious competition and immediately attracts interest, or rather, interest in both of them. The agency sends them to concerts all over the country. Some places are great, others terrible. But above all, they have to travel quickly before they are pushed out by winners of other competitions. And Dan and Hana travel and play and are happy. And then one night, on the way back, it all ends. A moment of inattention, a drunk man stumbles along a forest road. Hana stops, Dan finds out that the man is alive, everything is fine. Or is it?
Intolerance can already be ominously growing among children. Even the talented Petr, who is not accepted by his new classmates, will be convinced of this - he only encounters rejection and even betrayal of trust. More than exposing children's mentalities, however, the creators are trying to present a model of social morality, which, however, lacks both a more credible motivational background in the actions of the individual characters and the courage to point out the functioning of deformed relationships. However, they unfortunately did not reach the level and communication of Schorm's film Five Girls on the Neck, which dealt with a similar problem.
