Bonampak

The film narrates the discovery of the last great Mayan city, which occurred during the spring of 1946. It is the story of Charles Frey, a smuggler of archaeological pieces who upon hearing some legends about the immense riches that the jungle regions of southeastern Mexico keep, decides to go looking for him. After several months and a point of giving up, Frey detects some archaeological evidence of the Mayan culture, so he continues his explorations until he finds the majestic city of Bonampak.

Married Life

Jacqueline (Bonilla) and Nicolas (Echanove) are so in love that they decide to get married "until death takes them apart". When love dies and infidelity takes its place, Jacqueline decides there's no time to fulfill the promise of their votes. Familia Gang

A senior official of the Mexican political system decides to fake the capture and death of The Coyote, public enemy number one in Mexico, to make this happen, he cuts a deal with his family, who require a dead body to pose as a double. Topillero is responsible of executing the plan. But on this journey he is reunited with his wife and son, whom he abandoned years ago.

The film got its inspiration from a real life character that killed policemen in the streets. The film narrates just how this man was pushed to committing crime.

Lolo

Lolo lives in a poor neighborhood on the outskirts of Mexico City. One day he is assaulted and injured out of the factory where he works. After a week of hospitalization, Lolo loses his job and is forced to seek sustenance. The accidental death of an elderly woman, whom Lolo trying to steal a watch that his mother had insisted, facing the young people in your neighborhood and forces him to flee, full of guilt and shame.

Wooden Town

When Mundo has to flee, their connection turns from physical to digital even when Marisol is held captive by her cousin. In The MIddle of Nowhere

A retired union leader runs a restaurant by the highway with the help of his wife and his young son. La mudanza

The Beginning and the End

The film tells the story of the Boteros, a middle-class Mexican family struggling against poverty after their father's death. Ignacia (Egurrola) is the Boteros mother, a desperate woman who chooses to sacrifice the destiny of her three older children, in order to protect Gabriel (Laguardia) the youngest one. Los doce pasos

La Güera is the director of the "El Amanecer" rehabilitation center, where she is responsible for providing support to young people with drug addiction problems, following the "Twelve Steps" model. One day, La Güera's cousin asks her for help in admitting her young son Samuel to the center; La Güera goes to invite him to join the rehabilitation center. Samuel refuses and is taken there by force, which complicates his adjustment to the place. La Güera tries to encourage him and give him attention so that he can get used to his new surroundings. Everything seems to be going well when an armed group bursts in and takes several inmates, including Samuel. La Güera is forced to turn to one of her associates to get him back, revealing a dark secret.
