CyberFight Festival 2021 was a professional wrestling event promoted by CyberFight for its four brands, DDT Pro-Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, and Ganbare Pro-Wrestling. It took place in Saitama, Japan, at the Saitama Super Arena and aired live on Wrestle Universe. The card comprised fifteen matches, with the first three being part of the Starting Battle pre-show. Departure was a major professional wrestling event produced by Pro Wrestling Noah. The event took place on July 10, 2004 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, and marked Noah's first ever show in the arena. The main event was marketed as the culmination of the long running feud between former allies and tag team partners Kenta Kobashi and Jun Akiyama for the GHC Heavyweight Championship, then held by Kobashi. Beginning on Noah's very first show in 2000 and having spanned over four years since then, it marked the first time Akiyama and Kobashi had faced off in singles competition since August 6, 2000 where Akiyama won by referee stoppage.
The Giant Baba Memorial Spectacular took place on January 28, 2001 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan and was a joint promotion between All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event was themed around memorializing AJPW's founder Shohei "Giant" Baba, who had died in 1999. Wrestle-1 was a strange idea by Mutoh (the All Japan booker) and was promoted by All Japan, so even though it wasn't "officially" an All Japan event it might as well have been. There’s a few “feature” matches. Some good-looking junior stuff on the undercard, Muto & Goldberg teaming up against Kronik, and Bob Sapp facing a “mystery opponent.”
On March 2, 2014, 14 TNA wrestlers were part of a TNA/Wrestle-1 supershow in Tokyo, Japan. TNA taped the event to air as a One Night Only pay-per-view. The TNA World Heavyweight, X Division and World Tag Team Championships were all defended during the event. The event also featured several matches not involving TNA wrestlers, dubbed "Part 1". Tatsusaburo Sunagawa, the assistant underboss of the Morita Family, ousts Yukichi Matsuura, Matsuura Family head, from his position as underboss of the main Morita Family and took his position. This was due to the incident in which Kenji Kano, the underboss of the Matsuura Family, beat to death the civilian Takatsu. At the same time, Sunagawa restarts the "Commercial Mutual Aid Association," which had stalled due to Matsuura's opposition, and intensifies efforts to recruit members. In response, Tojo, the deputy leader of the Domoto-gumi, who is Kano's sworn brother, becomes furious when he learns of the methods Sunagawa and others are using to force members into their association plans.
Osaka, 1993. Sunagawa, assistant to the Morita Family underboss, proposes the establishment of a "Commercial Mutual Aid Association" as a future source of funding for the group, stating his great desire to make it a success. However, Matsuura Yukichi, the Morita Family's underboss and boss of Kano Kenji, does not approve of the proposal, putting him and Sunagawa at deadly odds.
