Anica lives in New Belgrade, a miserable district of tower blocks and concrete. She is mistress to Milutin, a wealthly local criminal who owns a solarium and runs a protection racket. Anica is determined not to grow old in this dump where neither love nor life seems to offer her a decent future. One grey winter’s day Anica has an idea to steal money from Milutin’s safe, get on a plane and leave the country forever.

The Fourth Man

A man awakens from a two-month-long coma. Total amnesia. A bullet fired point blank. He doesn't remember anything. He's told that he had a wife and a son. They've been killed. He's revealed his past identity by the Colonel, who insists they are best friends. He's a Major of the Military Security Agency. An inspector from the State Security Agency appears affirming that he has information on people responsible for the massacre of his family. The Major is discharged from the hospital. He tries to patch together a normal life but is confronted with emptiness and despair. His only chance of discovering his identity and the assassin of his family is to accept the game that the Inspector has set up for him with the Businessman, the Mafioso and the Politician. He agrees... Discovers that he was a war criminal... Realizes who took a shot at him... Finds out who killed his family... Discovers the Fourth Man!

Here and There

Robert, a jaded middle-aged New Yorker, travels to Belgrade to make some quick cash by marrying someone for U.S. immigration papers. The plan goes awry when the money never arrives, leaving Robert stuck in Serbia. Meanwhile in New York, Banko, the young Serb whose girlfriend Robert is to marry, fights to come up with the cash.

Tears for Sale

Story of two sisters that grew up in a small Serbian village in the beginning of the 1930s. The village is torn up by wars and years long blood oath. There are no men left in the village. Our heroines, Ognjenka and Mala Boginja decide to go to the city, kidnap men and return life to their village. The lights of the metropolis dazzle them and there starts this little amusing and sentimental adventure.

Chasing Luck(y)

In a rented apartment in Belgrade lives Srećko, who always plays the same combination of lotteries in the hope to win a premium one day. Local seller of lottery tickets, Višnja, is In him the love him. One evening, Srecko gets premium worth of several million euros. Helpless Srećko looses his ticket and his memory. However, the winning lottery paper, by unfortunate circumstances, reaches the hands of Žile and Sale, the owner of the local cafes. Unprepared to manage this money, they go to the Greek island Corfu in the hopes that will inspired them for a business. Two suspicious Belgrade "businessman" fallow them to Corfu to steal them the ticket.

Flirt

Two girls swear their former boyfriends and sent two demons Strahinja and Lola to take them. Strahinja must deliver the main heroes of this world or, by the decision of the judge of the Dark Vilayet, be returned to the unpleasant state of death. The four stories that make this omnibus film, follow main characters which Lola and Strahinja should pick up. Each of them tries to avoid death. You will see how the sanguine, phlegmatic, melancholic and kolerik cope with the death officers.

Midwinter Night's Dream

A simple story of an ex-convict who comes home after 10 years, only to find two squatters in the form of a woman and her autistic daughter. Though Lazar initially plans to kick out Jasna and Jovana, he changes his mind after seeing the squalid conditions of the shelter they are to move into. It is an allegory of the Balkan wars. When first released in Serbia, it caused some public outrage because of the sharp criticism of Serbia's role in the war.

T.T. Syndrome

Several people get locked in a turkish bath at night, being hunted by a brutal serial killer, who seems to be seized with the T.T. Syndrome, a brain malady that leads to painful sociopathy.

Bora Under Occupation

Serbian novelist Bora Stankovic lives in Belgrade during WWI. He’s torn between the need to work and the need to resist working for the papers controlled by the occupiers, the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Marko

Deserter

Nikoletina Bursac

The mother of a national hero Nikoletina Bursac leads an imaginary conversation with the statue of her deceased son. We follow events from Nikoletina's life and war: his joining of the partisans together with his neighbor Jovica Jez, meeting with the small Jewish girl Erna who survived the slaughter of her village, constant quarrels and friendship with commander Pirgo and commissar Zlatko, meeting with Curetak and their unsuccessful love relationship.

Three-Hearts Locket

A three-part omnibus. First story: Two friends remember their past, while unsuccessfully trying to win girl's heart. Second story: A teenage girl falls in love with a grown man for whom this encounter is nothing but an unimportant meeting. Third story: A young girl from conservatory meets a man of her dreams.

Poor Little Hampsters

Two idle clerks who do senseless office job of punching cards, and who are not particularly fond of each other, decide to play the game "come up with the most stupid line possible" in order to break the boredom. Then they call random people over the phone and tell this line. Harmless game of theirs creates general confusion among people, which leads to anti-terrorist intervention, police interrogation, loss of state credit and the change of government. The two, of course, know nothing about the series of comic and incredible events that follow without stop.

Boiling

The action takes place in the period from 1930 to 1934. The main protagonist is a so-called “collective hero”, that is, the revolutionary movement of Yugoslavia during the 1930s, although, conditionally speaking, the main hero is Rodoljub Colakovic.

Unfinished Symphony

This drama is about Alma Mahler, the wife of the famous composer Gustav Mahler, who herself was engaged in music, loved composing and conducting, and who was the muse of many famous artists: Klimt, Zemlinsky, Kokoska, Walter Gropius, Franz Werfel and her husband.

The Mask

After the 1848 revolution with the help of Serbs and other allies Austrians managed to defeat Hungarians and preserve the centralist system of the Austrian Monarchy. A number of prominent Serbs lived in Vienna for years after the revolution. But their merits are slowly forgotten. The story begins in Vienna 1851 on a ball given by general's wife Ada, ahead of Easter.
