Halil, a police officer, shoots an illegal immigrant during a clash while on duty. While his trial is ongoing, he returns to his family home in Dalyan. The boat used for human trafficking sinks off the coast of Aşı Koyu. Some of the traffickers die, while others survive. Halil finds Jordan, one of the survivors, and takes him to the hospital. Yaren, a nurse at the hospital, pressures Halil to communicate with Jordan. Jordan's father is an illegal worker in Greece. Halil helps Jordan find his father. Melek Dinç, who works in the Public Relations Department of Dalaman Municipality, is a Ghanaian illegal immigrant who takes Jordan under her wing and acts as a mother to him.

Turgut is an actor who performs in school shows to support his son Umut, earning a living by clowning around at parties. Umut's mother, Simay, left him and started living with someone else, enjoying her life. One day, in the middle of a show, he receives a phone call informing him that Umut has fallen ill at school and been taken to the hospital. Umut is diagnosed with leukemia. Sibel

Deli Saçması

The Mute

But then he meets Selma at the library where he has been commissioned to do a mural, and the introduction marks a turning point for him. Selma, an attractive and dignified woman with the impeccable manners of an old Istanbul family, once took up calligraphy herself. With her guidance and encouragement, Sami embarks on learning the practice of calligraphy. He is helped in his endeavours by Esref Efendi, a gifted but demanding old-generation calligrapher, whose distaste for the present state of calligraphy has deterred him from taking on students for some time. And the master is quick to steer Sami towards love.
