He hears advice on preserving one's dignity and self-esteem. He discovers hatred. If he does survive and returns to Budapest, what will he find? What is natural; what is it to be a Jew? Sepia, black and white, and color alternate to shade the mood.

Adventurers

Trumpet player Géza Elekes does not play very well in his private life, and his fourth marriage has failed. One day he gets a call from his father, whom he hasn't spoken to in decades. This prompts her and her son, András, who is in the thick of things, to visit her parents, who live across the border. When he arrives in Transylvania, his father says he is fed up with her jealousy and moves in with him. Géza reluctantly accepts the idea, but eventually the three men set off for Budapest. Along the way, they face many trials and tribulations: hit-and-runs, chases, women, corpses and the green border.

Pelikan Blue

Transmission

Computers, TVs, cel tels and other telecom devices no longer work and the people are suffering severe withdrawal pains. Three brothers try to overcome their own major personal problems as the society slowly begins to find alternative ways of living.

But what about Tomi?

Sanyi (Szabolcs Thuróczy) is a puppeteer and an alcoholic. Pali (Tamás Polgár) is an elevator mechanic and an alcoholic. Together they search for their friend Tomi, who has already missed several AA meetings. They try to stay sober, which is not easy in a country where drinking is widely accepted as a daily practice. Sanyi's wife and daughter left him five years ago because of his addiction, and since then he has started a new life and stopped drinking, while Pali only needs a little push to drink again. Tomi probably doesn't even need that much. The two friends race against time on the streets of Budapest to find and rescue Tomi.

Anarchists

Gavrilo lives the everyday life of a seemingly ordinary young man, but he also reads history books and dreams of carrying out a real revolutionary deed. He identifies with his imaginary role, choosing his name from history after the assassin of Franz Ferdinand. Majka lives in seclusion in a greenhouse, preferring to stay as close as possible to her tropical plants and songbirds. She knits clothes, which she occasionally transports by bicycle to a charity in the city. One day, he accidentally learns that some of the donations are being sold abroad by the leaders for big money. In desperation, he decides to punish the culprits. Then he meets Gavrilo and the two lonely rebels join forces to carry out their plan.

During this forced association a strange friendship begins between the two lonely men, even though Wu is told by his boss to prevent the sale of the storage under all circumstances. The boss is also giving enticing promises to Wu to help him realize his dream: go back to China and create his own football team. The situation is further complicated by the pizza girl, who is equally liked by both men and stirs up the strange life of the storage.
